Jim Corbett - Located on the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Jim Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna the park is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. It takes its name from the legendary hunter turned conversationalist, Jim Corbett who spent most of his life in the area and helped in setting up the park.

Corbett tiger reserve is perhaps one of the very few national parks in India, where you can stay in the heart of the reserve. Forest bungalows situated by the river Ramganga or overlooking vast expanses of the Dhikala grasslands serve as an ideal base for the keen wildlife lovers and photographers. The vast savannahs support unusually high herbivore density such as spotted deer, Wild Boar, Rare Hog Deer and large herds of Elephants. The high herbivore density attracts carnivores such as tigers, Leopard and a variety of lesser cats.
The beautiful Ramganga valley is also a bird watchers paradise and supports more than 600 species including 50 birds of prey.
