Jaipur Popularly know as the Pink city because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honour of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria, Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and gardens. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana.

Experience includes a visit to the Amber Fort Palace, a classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh in 1592 and completed by his descendent Jai Singh. It epitomises a fusion of Mogul and Hindu style in art and architechture. Included will be a visit to Hawa Mahal – the ornamental façade of this ‘palace of winds’ is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Its five-storey structure in sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahan was a royal grandstand for the palace women. You will also be able to experience a camel ride or an elephant ride on this trip.

Agra In the mid 16th century and early 17th century Agra witnessed a frenzied building activity and it was during this time when the symbol of love Taj Mahal was built. The buildings made during this era were purely in the contemporary Mogul style and of very high quality. Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD, in memory of Mumtaz Mahal (his second wife).

Experience includes a day in and around the Taj Mahal with a stopover nearby for a picnic lunch and snacks. You will have the option to see the Taj on a full moon night (when available) depending on the length of your total stay.

2. Relaxation and detoxing In addition to the above you will have the choice to stopover for some massage and relaxation treatments at one of the best hotels in Jaipur.

Experience – includes two days to six days of total unwinding in a relaxed environment. The hotel offers mellow detox therapy, which works by combining treatments, gentle exercise, enemas (or bastis) all devised using Ayuvedic techniques. The treatments available include full body massage and body wraps. Spas and ayurvedic facials. Look and feel lighter and feel the energy levels raised after the treatments.
