Overseas offers Hotel Management and
Business work-experience placements
in some of India’s best luxury
hotels in its capital Delhi. You can
choose from the following options and
spend from 2 to 16 weeks working with
between two to three different hotels/chain
of guesthouses:
a) Work alongside Conference
and Events Operations Manager,
who is responsible for the management and
control of conference facilities, ensuring
all guests are served to the highest possible
standards whilst driving the profitability
of the department.
b) Assist/ Observe in the
kitchen
watching the teams cater for volume food
operations for buffet breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
c) Observe/assist (at the
hotels discretion) at the reception
desk taking telephone calls,
talking to customers, handling enquiries/bookings
and managing food and beverage orders.
d) Get superb work-experience
with the Human
Relations and Training
teams, involved in ongoing recruitment,
training and management of people in the
industry.
e) Get involved with assisting/
providing excellent customer
service to guests at the
hotel working alongside staff member.
